Ahh, writing a first confessional always feels like popping open a new booster pack of Magic cards or opening a new book. I just wish it also carried the new-book smell! lol
Anyways, let's start off with this game-starting twist. I wasn't expecting it, plain and simple, and I have no idea where it could possibly go next. I just know that it probably won't go the same direction as Fiji because a) we don't have an odd number of castaways, and b) there's no real basis to pick a "leader" to choose the tribes like they had Sylvia building the shelter. It just makes me want the game to start even sooner though! Tomorrow can't come any sooner!
Also, I'm finally starting to learn the pros AND cons of having experience with these games and knowing people, as well as not playing alias. I got a message from Holly on AIM, but it was from her screen name that she created for Survivor: Tactics- Galapagos Islands! She was my #1 ally in that game and I was so glad to hear that she was in this game! Another person that I recognize is Nick, aka Jimmy J in Namibia/All-Stars aka Ami in Manchuria (where I personally recognize him). We worked really well together in Manchuria and he got unfortunately screwed over by the triple-TC twist brought on by all three of us failing the challenge miserably (we weren't on the same tribe at the time). I also recognize Ashley; we both played Survivor vs. Big Brother Round 1, both with the same representatives, until that died last week when the host never posted the IC3 results. Finally, the one con. I recognize Paloma. We met over at Fantasy Games Central, and she (...he, his real name is Mark.) treats me like utter shit all the time on that message board. So I know she's going to target me almost immediately.
Luckily though, I already have an alliance which may be able to counter that. Holly and I already know we work really well together so we're aligned again, and same goes with me and Nick. Both her and I know Ashley from different games, and she also knows Parvati. So we're looking to pull those three in to create an alliance of 5: Me, Holly, Parvati, Ashley, and Nick. As the game progresses, we might add more, depending on the twists that get thrown at us, such as being split up when we're finally split into tribes.

Love the confessional... Alliances forming already<3 Love when that happens, all those relationships. I've had games before when I end up in a tribe with an amazing support system but I have to soon begin to choose between the ones I love the most. Hope everything works out for you!
